 Montañas y naturaleza Comparte con el resto de pueblos del Valle de Guadalest una de las zonas más privilegiadas de la provincia de Alicante por su entorno natural. .

La Sierra de Aitana es conocida por su variedad de flores y plantas aromáticas. Se han catalogado más de 1.200 especies de plantas superiores con numerosos endemismos entre los que podemos destacar joyas como la Cistanche phelypaea y el Teucrium lepicephalum. Benimantell Naturaleza La naturaleza del valle, cobra unas características muy especiales entre finales de enero y principios de marzo cuando los miles de almendros que cubren estas bellas montañas abren mágicamente sus flores e inundan de un blanco espectacular los bancales de las sierras.

La Sierra de Aitana, junto con la Sierra de Serrella y el Puig Campana fue declarada LIC (lugar de interés comunitario). En la umbría de la Aitana hay diferentes áreas protegidas debido a su interés botánico, las micro-reservas de flora. -
